Minutes for Hamptons HOA Board of Directors Meeting

January 8, 2026

Call to Order:  President John Lindacher called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm followed by the Pledge of Allegiance

Roll Call by Marianne Stone: Present John Lindacher, Sandy Lehman, Sue Wolf, Howard Korn, Mike Davis, Sharon Guy, Debbie Raine and Marianne Stone.  

Previous Meeting Minutes: John asked if there were any amendments to the November minutes There being none, a motion to accept the minutes as posted, was made by Sandy Lehman; Sue Wolf seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

Recycling:  John reported that the can crusher is not working currently.

VP/Membership report: Sandy reported that as of this date 408 memberships for 2026 have been delivered or picked up.  You will need your membership card to vote in the upcoming Board of Director’s election. Packets can be picked up at Marianne Stone’s home Tuesday through Friday from 11-7. Sandy also read election procedures and announced that all times for volunteers have been filled.

Treasurer:  Howard Korn reported on the amounts held in checking, debit card and cd accounts.  This report in its entirety is posted on the HOA bulletin board.

Car Show:  Howard reported that things are coming together and that the committee volunteers have been meeting each Tuesday at 1:00.  There have been a few unexpected expenses, but they have been minimal. He thanked everyone for their work.

Welcome Committee:  Sue Wolf stated that she has called on the new November residents but has not contacted the December residents because she has just received the new resident’s report.  There were only 4 sales in December.

Bingo: Sue reported that the Bingo committee is overseeing the playing and payouts along with the expenditures to cover needed supplies. 

Community Concerns: Sharon reported that she had met with Todd and had covered any concerns she had received at the meeting with him. 

IT/Directory Update:  Marianne urged those present to check the website often for information regarding upcoming events, to give suggestions to the board and to let any concerns or questions be addressed. Residents should update any information that may have changed since the 2025 Resident Directory was printed via the census form.

Persons placing their names for consideration to serve on the HOA Board: Grieg Bernard, Bruce Emmett, Frank Forant. Brian Noel. Debbie Raine, and Gino Rankineach spoke briefly stating their qualifications, interests and prior experience.

The Board then entertained questions for the candidates from residents in attendance.  When there were no other questions, John closed the meeting to questions and asked that the new candidates meet briefly with him prior to leaving.  During that meeting Bruce Emmett withdrew his candidacy.
